Not sure what your goals are yet? That’s ok too! We will discuss all of that in your consultation to create the best plan for your sessions!
Individual Counselling (Virtual)
A personalized therapeutic process where you work one-on-one with a trained and compassionate therapist. This type of counselling provides a safe and confidential environment to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Through various therapeutic techniques, your therapist will guide you in developing coping strategies, gaining insights, and fostering resilience, ultimately empowering you to lead a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Intake: $150 (1 hour)
Subsequent Sessions: $120 (1 hour)
Payment is required at the start of each session. Payment can be made via e-Transfer. Credit card and direct billing to come.
To ensure your insurance provider will cover the cost, please check with them ahead of time to ensure coverage of a Registered Counselling Therapist (Provisional).
Meet Your Counselling Therapist
Sam Cairns-Arseneau is a registered Counselling Therapist (provisional) based in Prince Edward Island. Born and raised in PEI, Sam has deep roots in her community and is a proud member and advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Sam completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Prince Edward Island before pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, where she now serves as a Practicum Coordinator. She is passionate about counselling and is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for therapeutic work, celebrating successes both big and small.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her wife, Chrissy, their cat Aura, and hamster Boba Fett. She can often be found participating in spin classes or enjoying quality time with her loved ones.
